Volunteering

Do your bit for the community

Complementary Cancer Care Trust welcomes support from the local community. Those who can spare a few hours occasionally are much appreciated, whether they are admin work, therapists, befrienders, counsellors, or just to help with our fundraising days.

One in four people die of cancer.   This may have happened to someone close to you.   Complementary Cancer Care Trust are able to support people who have been affected by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses - and would very much like to support more people.    The Trust relys on funding, fund raising and donations to be able to continue its good work in the community.

Volunteering can be very rewarding in some many ways when helping people who have been affected by cancer and life-threatening illnesses.

You could help to raise funds simply by:

  • holding a sponsored event
  • assisting at our Monday Support Group
  • helping at one of our Fund Raising events
  • donating or making items to be used as tombola/raffle prizes at fund raising events
  • participating in a large national events such as a marathon, cycle ride - or holding a coffee morning or a fashion show.

If you have children would their school be interested in having the Trust as their 'Charity of the Year' or simply have a donation box on show in the premises?

If you are able to support us in any way, please fill in your details on our enquiry form. Alternatively, you can download our volunteering form from the Documents page, which you can complete and return to the Trust.

Please help and DO YOUR BIT!
