COMPLEMENTARY CANCER CARE TRUST

Contact us on Tel: 01322 524079

The Trust provides a service to people who have cancer, stress, depression and other life threatening illnesses and their carers. We use a holistic approach to self-care and seek to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people we see. We provide information, support and a range of complementary therapies, which can be safely used alongside medical treatment.

Our weekly support group is an important part of the local community providing vital support to those affected by cancer.

We hold weekly sessions in St Mary's Church Hall, Manor Road, Bexley Village.  Weekly activities such as gentle exercise, yoga, meditation and a range of complementary therapies are available to people affected by life threatening illnesses including stress and depression along with their carers and families.

When the client is receiving palliative care treatment or they are too frail to attend the weekly support groups run by Complementary Cancer Care Trust, it is important that they are able to receive counselling, complementary therapies or befriending in their own home from a Home Visiting Officer. This is intended to give the benefit of stress control, countering tension, insomnia, anxiety, pain and sickness. Our therapists are qualified and insured to nationally recognised standards. For more information, please contact the Trust.

Palliative Care & Home Visiting Service fundraising project. We are running a 3 year project to raise funds to continue our Home Visiting services covering the South East London and North Kent. Please donate!

The Trust is looking for individuals who can give their time to help with morning support groups or any other fundraising events to raise money for the Trust. We are a non-profit making charity and all the proceedings will go to the running of the charity and the support of its members and carers. We appreciate any time you can give.
