The Trust has been successful if getting through the first round of The Big Lottery Fund which is the biggest distributor of Lottery money. This year they are supporting community organisations and projects for health, education and the environment. We are now working on the second part of our application - and thank the Bexley Voluntary Services Council (BVSC) for their help and support throughout - and will keep you all posted as to the outcome.
Kate Botwright, a Trustee of Complementary Cancer Care Trust, during 2011 will be doing a series of sponsored runs for the Trust. In January 2011 Kate completed 'The Grim Challenge' and in March 2011 she will take part in the Adidas Silverstone Half-Marathon. Kate will be raising funds for the Trust and for Mesothelioma UK and generous donations of sponsorship will be very much appreciated.
Volunteers Needed. The Trust's volunteers are so important to everything we do and in helping improve the lives of people. The Trust is keen to welcome more volunteers, whether it is helping at fundraising events or at our support group. See the Volunteering page for details.
As a registered, non-profit making charity, the Trust would be unable to exist without donations or funding. We are always extremely grateful for any assistance we receive.
If you are a UK tax payer and are considering making a donation to the Trust, please see the Gift Aid page to find out how your donation can be increased at no cost to you.
