Vision & aims
The purpose of the Trust is to provide a holistic approach to let people with cancer, their families and carers by:
-
Addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the user
-
Working with clinical and medical health professionals at all levels
-
Providing useful information and support to users, associates and contacts
-
Improve health and well-being by appropriate and safe use of complementary therapies
-
To provide outstanding levels of service and satisfaction by dedicated professional and skilled people
Additionally, Our Objectives are:
-
To set-up a permanent residence in order to continue to broaden and extend to a wider range of services. This will meet our ambition to provide complementary services to people affected by cancer.
-
To make it easier for people to access the services the Trust offer.
-
It is important for people to have somewhere they feel safe and not vulnerable, can shed their tears and talk through their fears in a non-judgemental environment.
-
Provide a home visiting programme, incorporating palliative care
-
An integrated approach is vital to the success of our development, with complementary therapies and primary care running alongside each other.
Therefore, Our Targets are:
-
Forging alliances with different providers in the cancer field. The Trust feels the way forward is to provide a more modern approach working with other organisations, local hospices and other palliative care organisations working closely in the surrounding communities.
-
To offer a more integrated service where people can access information, complementary therapies and other services away from a hospital environment.
