Welcome

LATEST NEWS and EVENTS

Our next Monday Group will be on Monday 8th February with Complementary Therapies and a Gentle Exercise Class with Kate Turnbull.

Gentle Exercise helps with breathing, brings positivity to the body, provides the body and mind with energy and helps with emotional, mental and nutritional problems.

Our information leaflets for Winter/Spring 2010 programmes and the Christmas newsletter are now available at the bottom of our home page and in our Monday Group Section.

On the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at our groups we will hold a discussion group at which the Trust Counsellor will be available to speak with the group or on an individual basis, if preferred.

The first group session is free and thereafter any attendance will be for a £5.00 donation.

Please contact the Trust to book your appointment.

THANK YOU to Ian Ferris, Therapist of the Trust who raised £50.00

WE WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY & PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

2010 will be an exciting year for the Trust, as we will be offering day trips to our members, new workshops and talks at our Monday Groups.  We will be working hard to achieve our goals to open a Trust House to be able to offer more information to our members and the general public.

Complementary Cancer Care Trust was launched in June 2000 and is a non-profit making registered charity working within the community of Bexley and the surrounding areas.

The Trust provides a service to people who have cancer, or any life threatening disease, along with their carers, families and friends.  The purpose of the Trust is to encourage a holistic approach to self-care and seeks to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people seen.   Information, support and a range of complementary therapies are provided which may be safely used alongside medical treatment.

The Trust advocates and encourages a healthy lifestyle, including self-help and informational workshops.  The Trust works with people on an individual level and within groups where they can meet others in similar circumstances, during all stages of their illness.

For further details of the Trust's services, please look through our website which aims to provide a range of information.   Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us....
